Sky Sports has officially launched Multiview, a groundbreaking new feature that lets viewers watch up to four live Premier League matches simultaneously on one screen — a first in UK broadcasting. The new viewing experience went live on Sunday, October 5, 2025, offering football fans an entirely new way to follow the action.
What Is Sky Sports Multiview?
Multiview is a unique live broadcast feature that allows Sky Sports subscribers to view four Premier League games at the same time. Designed for fans who never want to miss a moment, the screen layout includes one large viewing window and three smaller ones on the right-hand side. The main feed automatically switches focus to wherever the most exciting play is happening — ensuring the ball is always in motion somewhere on your screen.
Which Matches Are Included?
For its debut, Multiview featured all the 2pm kick-offs from the Premier League:
- Aston Villa vs Burnley
- Everton vs Crystal Palace
- Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest
- Wolves vs Brighton
Each of these matches can still be viewed individually on their respective Sky Sports channels:
- Sky Sports Main Event: Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest
- Sky Sports Premier League: Everton vs Crystal Palace
- Sky Sports+: Aston Villa vs Burnley
- Sky Sports Mix: Wolves vs Brighton
How Can Fans Access Multiview?
Sky Sports Multiview is available across multiple platforms. Viewers can access it through:
- The Sky Sports app (mobile and tablet)
- Sky Glass and Sky Stream devices
- The Sky Sports TV app via the Red Button (Match Choice)
For those without a Sky subscription, the service can also be streamed through NOW, Sky’s contract-free platform, offering flexibility for casual fans.
How Does It Work?
Multiview delivers a dynamic, fast-paced experience by automatically switching between live games based on where the action is. This ensures fans see every key moment — from goals to penalties and crucial tackles. Commentary for the Multiview feed is provided by Andy Bishop and Lee Hendrie, giving consistent analysis across all four matches.
Viewers who prefer to focus on a single match will still enjoy standard commentary, half-time insights, and full-time highlights on their chosen channel.
When Does Coverage Start?
Pre-match coverage begins on Sky Sports Premier League from 12:30pm, building up to the 2pm kick-offs. The Multiview stream activates at 1:55pm, just before the games begin. After the final whistle, the channel continues with Extra Time, hosted by Jamie Carragher and Dave Jones, between 7:30pm and 8:30pm, offering expert analysis and highlights from all of Sunday’s fixtures.
A New Era of Matchday Viewing
The introduction of Multiview marks a major evolution in how fans consume football. Instead of switching channels or relying on highlight reels, viewers can now experience multiple matches live — simultaneously — with seamless transitions and real-time commentary.
Sky has already tested Multiview during its Women’s Super League coverage earlier this season, receiving strong feedback from fans. Now, by extending the feature to Premier League fixtures, Sky aims to redefine live sports broadcasting in the UK.
Beyond the Game: The Sky Sports App
The Sky Sports app complements the Multiview experience by offering live scores, video highlights, and personalized notifications. Subscribers can stream all Sky Sports channels at no extra cost, while non-subscribers can stay updated with breaking news, transfer alerts, and instant goal updates.
The Future of Live Football
With Multiview, Sky Sports is once again pushing the boundaries of sports entertainment. Whether you’re watching from your living room or on the go, the feature ensures that no fan misses a single second of the Premier League’s most thrilling moments.
