Massimiliano Allegri’s Premier League Prospects

Massimiliano Allegri, the renowned Italian coach, is reportedly on the radar of West Ham and Newcastle United. Both Premier League clubs are considering Allegri for their managerial positions, but he is expected to demand a salary of at least €8 million per season.

Allegri, who was recently dismissed by Juventus, has emerged as a potential replacement for Julen Lopetegui at West Ham. Newcastle is also evaluating the possibility of hiring the former Juventus and Milan coach, known for his impressive track record in Italy.

Allegri’s Salary Expectations

During his second tenure with Juventus, Allegri earned €7 million annually after tax. Now, he seeks €8 million per year to take on a role in the Premier League. This demand is bolstered by interest from Saudi clubs, which are reportedly willing to offer up to €20 million per season.

Allegri’s coaching career is decorated with six Serie A titles and five Coppa Italia victories. Despite being without a club, his reputation and achievements allow him to maintain high salary expectations.

In preparation for a potential move to England, Allegri is reportedly taking English lessons in London. He was recently seen in the city attending a Europa League match between Tottenham and Roma.

This appearance has sparked considerable speculation among fans and analysts alike, suggesting that Allegri might be scouting the teams or simply soaking in the atmosphere of English football. His attendance at such a high-profile match could also be a strategic move to familiarize himself with the style and pace of the game in England, which is known for its unique intensity and fervor.
